Controls/Service Engineer – 75% EU & UK Travel

Siemens experienced Systems Commissioning Engineer with the ability to program S7/TIA Portal now required for a growing business dedicated to solving control problems for blue chip clients within packaging machinery and line control.

This forward thinking company is now seeking a Control & Service Engineer with PLC/Robot experience to enable them to continue with their success. Development activities include design, implementation, testing and in most cases on-site commissioning of the control system. Good electrical skills are also required for this role.

You will be responsible for small to medium projects from concept to completion as requested, including building OEM machinery conveyor systems and any other bespoke parts as required.

This role will involve c75% travel throughout the UK and Ireland including some EU therefore flexibility is essential. A good understanding of EPlan P8 would be preferable. You will also have good project managament skills in order to manage European installation teams.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a company who are driving their business forward working with many leading industry names.

You will preferably be located near to their Lancashire head office, however, home based candidates will also be considered. If you are to be working home based, you must be prepared to travel to the office for testing/pre-commissioning activities.
