This is an exciting opportunity for a Junior Maintenance Engineer to get involved in reactive and preventative maintenance and continuous improvement projects as well as play an important role in the upgrade of manufacturing processes within a high-spec environment.

 

Our client are committed to training and investing in staff, therefore this role is specifically aimed at either a newly passed apprentice seeking an opportunity to develop technical skills or a fully-fledged Maintenance Engineer with a few years’ experience within industry, looking for the chance to join a company that the resources and dedication to provide a top notch training package and ample support to ensure success.

 

Duties include:

  • Shadowing Maintenance Engineers, you will be involved in the planned maintenance of various plant and equipment including robotics, packaging, materials handling and moulding machines
  • Analysing performance and continuous development of production processes and plant
  • Assisting in the installation of new equipment

 

The ideal candiate will have:

  • NVQ Level 3 in a related topic or recognised apprenticeship would be highly advantageous
  • Previous experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment beneficial
  • Basic ability fault diagnosing PLC control systems and providing support OR a keen interest in developing skills
