Working for a market leader who quarries, manufactures and supplies a wide range of heavy building materials. You will be maintaining fully automated and electrically driven machinery including pneumatics, hydraulics, motors and robotics.

Working across a large site experienced Maintenance Engineers are required to join an established team to undertake responsibilities for planned and reactive maintenance of fully automated and electrically driven machinery including pneumatics, hydraulics, motors and robotics. You will undertake electrical work in accordance with UK legislation, updating, enhancing and upgrading automated control solutions for special purpose conveying, handling and packaging machines.

 

Electrical Engineers Now Required

 

Ideal experience:

Time served electrical engineering apprenticeship would be ideal

17th edition wiring regulations

PLC fault finding ability (modification highly advantageous) - Allen Bradley is the software used but will take any experience if you are willing to train

Robots experience – Fanuc, KUKA or ABB would be highly advantageous

 

The key part of this role is attitude. If you have the basic requirements but are willing and keen to learn, we still want to hear from you!

 

Successful engineers will be flexible, open to working at heights and have a keen interest in machinery enhancement projects. The position is based in Derbyshire and is commutable from Burton, Belper, Nottingham, Matlock & Mansfield.

 

In return you can expect a base salary ranging from £30k to £37k with paid overtime and an OTE in the region of £43,000, 5% Pension Contributions and 24 days holiday + Stats. The client has a development programme to assist in skill development to take candidates up in salary grades.
