Specialising in the
area of Equipment System Integration & Systems Support, this developing
company work with some of the world’s top multinational companies in the
medical device and pharmaceutical sectors assisting them to achieve their six
sigma and OEE targets.
They specialise in
industrial IT integration and regulatory compliance for global End Users, OEM’s
and Technology providers. Due to expansion a Senior Control Systems Engineer is
required to give direction, inspiration and technical knowledge to junior and
fellow resources.
Your role will involve the
development, commissioning and support of automation, control systems and
custom developed software programs. You will be responsible for automation and
control systems design, specification, programming, simulation, testing and
start-up assistance. You must possess the technical expertise to maintain,
develop, troubleshoot and validate these systems in a compliant and competent
manner.
You will be required to
self-manage agreed project goals and interact with the customer to achieve
these goals. The Senior Control Engineer will possess a sufficient level of
expertise to take front line interactions with the customer including a high
level of technical competency.
Strong software
development skills are required ideally across multiple platforms, however you
will be an expert in either Rockwell or Siemens with additional knowledge of
other systems i.e. Bosch, Omron, Fanuc or Mitsubishi.
The successful Senior
Control Systems Engineer will have proven experience within a regulated
environment ideally pharmaceutical, biotechnology or a relevant GMP
manufacturing environment. Extensive experience of PLC/SCADA is essential,
along with a flexible attitute to learning new technologies as projects arise.
Additional experience
would ideally include DCS and vision systems within a manufacturing
environment.

from Newcastle West, Mitchelstown, Ennis & Limerick.
