Specialising in the area of Equipment System Integration & Systems Support, this developing company work with some of the world’s top multinational companies in the medical device and pharmaceutical sectors assisting them to achieve their six sigma and OEE targets.

 

Due to expansion a Control Systems Engineer is required to design solutions for automation and control systems.

 

An exciting role offering a varied project base incorporating DCS, PLC & SCADA technologies. The successful Control Systems Engineer will interact with clients for technical requirement specifications, deliver projects in accordance with GMP guidelines and generate required documentation. 

 

Essential skills:

·       Experience of the Pharmaceutical sector

·       DCS Programming (DeltaV DCS Batch/DeltaV DCS)

·       PLC programming (Siemens S7, Allen Bradley Logix5000, Mitsubishi, Bosch, B&R, Elau, Omron)

·       SCADA/HMI configuration (Intouch, RSView, Labview, Cimplicity)

·       Full project lifecycle experience to include FDS

·       Factory Acceptance Testing

·       Meet with clients and attend customer sites

·       Full, clean driving licence

 

Desirable skills:

 

·       Knowledge of GAMP4/5

·       Vision Inspection Systems (Cognex, Keyence)

·       ASP.NET, WCF, MVC, VB along with network services

·       DCS programming (ABB 800xA)

·       OSI PI Historians, DBA Database, SQL

·       MES systems, Virtualization

 

A strong problem solver is required with excellent communication skills. The ability to work independently and take ownership of projects is highly advantageous.
