PLC Software Engineer – The Role:

• Control projects from concept, completing functional design specifications, software design using Siemens equipment (PLC, HMI, SCADA)
• Overseeing & completing installation & commissioning activities
• Approx. 40% office work – 60% Site. Mixed between UK and EU travel
• Potential to be on call – Overtime is paid to recognise this

Automation Engineer – The Person:

• Flexibility to complete commissioning phases in the UK & Europe where possible
• Experience using PLC software
• Ideally live locally but willing to consider flexible working
• Training on Siemens equipment is available

This role is based in the East Midlands and is commutable from within and around Nottingham, Derby, Leicester and Grantham.  

This position would suit an experienced Control Systems Engineer, Automation Engineer, PLC Software Engineer or Systems Software Engineer.
