Our client is a mechanical and plant engineering group that holds leading positions in the world market in its areas of operation. They are one of the world's leading suppliers of products, systems and services, mainly for automobile manufacturing.

They currently have a requirement for a Site Supervisor to be responsible for providing effective supervision, ensuring a quality installation of plant equipment by providing all relevant documentation throughout the installation period and at completion according to company procedures. Other duties include:

• Coordinating tasks and supervising, managing and motivating large numbers of contractors to ensure goals are met and to expected quality standards.
• Liaise with the customer at all levels and also have the ability to carry out a role of ‘Technical Support’ as required.

To be considered for this position, you will have experience of supervising the supply and installation of capital plant equipment i.e. booths, ovens, conveyor systems, pipework and steelwork, and ideally also robot applications, gained within the automotive/aerospace or related industries. Experience of CDM regulations/Health and Safety legislation would be an advantage.

Ideally qualified to HNC level or the industrial equivalent, you will have a sound knowledge of both electrical and mechanical engineering and the ability to read engineering drawings and diagrams.

Managed from the Head Office in Warwickshire, you will be working on customer sites both in the UK and overseas for short and extended periods. Flexibility with regard to travel and working time is therefore required, as is a full UK driving license and passport.

In recognition of your hard work, you can expect a basic salary of up to £45k, along with a whole host of excellent benefits such as a car or car allowance, phone, laptop, pension, health insurance, life assurance, company bonus, sick pay, salary uplifts & overtime/weekend allowances. Salary uplifts available include 20% for overnight stays, 50% for weekend working, 100% for bank holidays and 33% for nights.
