Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - Days

West Midlands 

£28k basic plus paid overtime & Pension

3 Shift

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer sought for a well-established company in the West Midlands.

Ideal candidate should be experienced in heavy process or special purpose machinery maintenance and will be able to carry out routine maintenance procedures, fault diagnosis, breakdowns and repair work including working to manufacturer's manuals/drawings.

Skills involved will include fitting, machining, welding and burning. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with good knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.

The successful Engineer will be able to work under their own initiative and have strong communication skills, be flexible to work shifts when required as they operate a three shift system when work dictates.

Based in the West Midlands, this role is commutable from within and around Dudley, Brierley Hill, Tipton, Kingswinford, Cradley Heath, Wednesbury, Wolverhampton, Stourbridge and Halesowen.

ALSO – positions are available for Junior Engineers or Mechanical Fitters who are looking for a progressive role. Salary would be starting at £23k offering great training and additional earning potential.
