Special purpose machinery manufacturer with a strong focus on innovative designs are now seeking an enthusiastic and driven Control Systems Engineer to join their team developing bespoke projects.

 

An exciting place to work providing many technical challenges, the successful candidate will be trained by experienced engineers to eventually take responsibility for full project lifecycle which will involve a wide range of skills including electrical circuit design, variable speed and servo drives, PLC's (Siemens and/or Allen Bradley) and HMI's. There will be a considerable amount of software content and you will learn to plan and implement complex programs covering a wide range of tasks.

 

Any experience of special purpose machines is desirable, however full training will be provided. Working on full lifecycle projects from initial discussions with the customer through to final site commissioning and handover.

 

This role would suit degree qualified candidates, either straight from graduation, or those who have had a couple of years’ experience within industrial automation, who seek a challenging and varied role with flexibility for a small amount of global travel. Full passport and driving licence required.

 

Located in the Home Counties this role is commutable from within and around the following areas: Bedford, Letchworth, Milton Keynes, St Neots and Cambridge.
