Control & Automation Engineer – Senior & Junior Positions Available

A leading marine, offshore power & automation specialist based within the North of England is now seeking to recruit an experienced Automation Engineer.

The role will comprise of hardware and software design, commissioning and international field service of marine and offshore PLC based automation systems and equipment. The candidate must be familiar and experienced with PLC & SCADA packages, specifically Siemens S7 and Wonderware Intouch. Familiarity with shipboard and offshore equipment would be desirable (although not essential) and the candidate must be capable of working unsupervised and confidently on a wide range of machnery automation projects ranging from lower power instrumentation to high power generation and distribution systems.

Short duration periods of travel both within the UK and internationally, often at short notice will be required.

We are looking for a highly motivated, dynamic and proactive engineer who is able to communicate well at all levels and be customer focused and commercially aware. A suitable degree, HNC or equivalent engineering qualification is required.
