Mechanical Service & Commissioning Engineer – Bespoke Machinery/Machine Tools

International Field Service Engineer with a machine tool background urgently sought to work with high specification machinery. The duties for this exciting and varied Service Engineering role include: 

·         Factory and site acceptance testing 

·         Installation & commissioning of equipment

·         Servicing & repair of equipment

·         Visiting customer sites at various locations throughout the world such as South America,

      China, Europe and the USA – amount can be flexible dependent on Engineer

We are seeking ideally apprentice trained Service Engineers with excellent mechanical skills including hydraulics & pneumatics along with knowledge and experience of AC/DC servo drives. You will also have:

·         Previous experience working within a service or commissioning capacity

·         Solid experience within machine tools OR special purpose machinery

·         An appreciation of Allen Bradley or Siemens PLC fault finding

·         A strong Multiskilled Service/Maintenance background

·         The ability to read and interpret electrical drawings

·         Flexibility to travel worldwide

·         Ability to speak another language to a technical level would be a distinct advantage
