Service Engineer – Mechanical Machine Tool

Salary Negotiable Depending on Experience

Mechanical Machine Tool Service Engineer now sought to join an established UK based engineering team. This company offers complete engineering solutions for the CNC Machine Tool sector, from stand-alone machines to complete production lines, working within a wide range of industries including automotive, metals, aerospace and power generation.

As a Field Service Engineer you will expected to complete installations, service, fault-find and repair of various CNC Machine Tools to include Lathes, Machining Centres and Grinding Machines into the UK and European market.

The successful Machine Tool Service Engineer will have:

• Solid mechanical bias with proven ability to complete service of machine tools
• Experience of 5 axis Machining Centres – Installation and Maintenance
• Experience of working with Fanuc and/ or Heidenhain CNC Controls would be helpful
• A good knowledge of Pneumatics & Hydraulics

Salary negotiable depending on experience, company car, full healthcare and contributory pension. You will predominantly cover your own region, however be prepared to travel to other areas of the UK as required. There will also be c3-4 short trips to Europe per year.
