Market leading special purpose machinery manufacturer has an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and driven candidate to join their Controls Engineering team.

Joining a skilled team, you will be working alongside the Technical Director to take on project work alongside growing the business. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of knowledge of PLC software for bespoke machinery design.

With an excellent record for innovation and development, they have a track record of designing and manufacturing efficient and reliable machines. A bright and keen Engineer is required to work within a structured team to take on the lower level duties whilst having the opportunity to learn and train from a highly skilled engineering team.

You will also have the opportunity to travel worldwide to assist in commissioning activities. This could be an ideal opportunity for candidates with high level PLC commissioning/modification ability alongside excellent mechanical understanding who are interested to train and develop controls skills further.

Basic salary is negotiable depending on experience but you can expect c£20-28k alongside salary sacrifice contributory pension. This role is commutable from Waterlooville, Fareham, Havant, Gosport, Portsmouth, Southampton, Petersfield, Eastleigh and Winchester.
