Electronic Bench Engineer

UK Leading Electronic Repairs business now urgently seeking a skilled Electronic Engineer to join their growing and dynamic team. Known for their exceptional customer service through fast and reliable repairs this business is going for a period of sustainable growth.

Main Duties:

·         Component level repairs to industrial electronics systems – Including PLC, CNC, HMI and Drive Systems

·         Complete comprehensive testing before, during and after repairs

·         Providing technical support to customers and colleagues

·         Reverse Engineering and Retro fitting

·         Occasional visits to customer sites

To be considered for this position it is essential that you possess an Electrical/Electronic qualification and/or experience working within industrial electronic repairs, with the ability to solder through hole and surface mount components.

The ideal Electronic Bench Repair Engineer will:

·         Be experienced with a wide array of industrial electronics from major manufacturers – Including Siemens, Fanuc, Allen Bradley, Control Techniques, Indramat and Mitsubishi

·         Be flexible with working hours and call out rota – Various shift patterns available

·         Be able to read complex electronic diagrams

·         Be able to work both with and without manufacturers manuals

In return you can expect a salary of £25-35k + Overtime, Pension, 25 Days Holiday + BH, Life assurance and Pool car.

Based in the West Midlands, this position is commutable within an hour from Wolverhampton, Tamworth, Telford, Warrington, Manchester, Stoke-on-Trent, Derby, Shrewsbury and surrounding areas.
