Control Panel Wirer/Build/Technician now sought for a company who provide fully integrated design, commissioning and support services for control and automation systems.

 

You will carry out complete electrical control panel building and modifications from layouts and schematic diagrams for all types of control panels from small PLC units to multi-sectioned MCC’s both in the workshop and on-site. Duties will also include:

 

  • Electrical fit-out, assembly, wiring, cabling and terminations
  • Reading, interpreting and updating schematic diagrams and layouts
  • Ensure panels are tested and relevant documentation is in place
  • Control panel modifications, upgrades and repairs on customer sites
  • Assist Engineers with site commissioning and testing
  • Provide electrical support assistance on-site

 

We are seeking applicants ideally electrically apprentice trained with proven experience of control panel building. You will be able to read and understand electrical schematics/diagrams.

 

It would be advantageous to have experience of PLC/HMI/Drives and other automation hardware. Any electrical design experience useful.

 

You will be self-motivated and able to use initiative in prioritising tasks as well as keen to accept responsibility and accountability. Strong communication skills, professional manner and the ability to represent the company to a high standard are essential pre-requisites.

 

You will be working across a diverse range of industries including Food & Beverage, Power Generation, Paper and Textiles for many varying applications for both hazardous and non-hazardous areas.
