Skilled Mechanical Design Engineer from a wet process background is urgently sought for one of the UK’s premier engineering companies who are dedicated to providing customers with exceptional levels of quality as an engineering, manufacturing and installation company.

With complete in-house electrical, mechanical and process control capability, they have a highly skilled and experienced workforce who provide turnkey solutions.

The ideal Mechanical Design Engineer will have proven background of hygienic pipework design for a variety of process applications within the food and beverage industries.

You will be designing turnkey solutions and will be capable of completing concept design to include P&ID’s, flow sheets & site surveys. You will have excellent communication skills as you will be client facing.

The successful applicant will be self-motivated, a problem solver and able to demonstrate precision and attention to detail. Able to work effectively under time pressure. Ideally you will be proficient with AutoCAD 2D and AutoPlant 3D, however other similar software is considered.

The role is based in East Midlands and is commutable from, within and around the following locations: Leicester, Tamworth, Derby, Burton upon Trent and Nottingham.
