Mechanical Machine Tool Fitter now urgently required for a growing and highly specialise machinery manufacturer with a worldwide presence and excellent customer relationships.

To be considered for the Mechanical Machine Tool Fitter position it is essential that you possess a relevant mechanical qualification (HND/C, OND or advanced apprenticeship)

Main Duties:

·      Accurately build new machinery from engineering drawings & assembly drawings

·      General fitting work

·      Cutting metal to size

·      Drilling & tapping with sub assembly work

·      Fabrication

·      Work to close tolerances

Though not essential, the ability to hand scrape alignments and a fork lift truck licence would be highly advantageous.

This position requires a well-motivated, hands on skilled individual who can demonstrate the following attributes:

·      Strong team player and able to work on own initiative

·      Able to multi task and prioritise own work load

·      Adhere to company Health and Safety policies

·      Good communication skills

This position would suite an experience Mechanical Machine Tool Fitter with an understanding of machine tools or a recently qualified Mechanical Engineer seeking a career within the Machine Tool Sector.
