Excellent opportunities available for two Machine Tool Service Engineers covering the South West for a highly renowned CNC machine tool manufacturer. Their special purpose machine tools are at the cutting edge of CNC technology.

We are seeking Service Engineers with proven experience installing CNC machine tools i.e. lathes, grinding machines, machining centres and turning machines, with specific ability to fault find Fanuc controls. You will be self-motivated with excellent client development and problem solving skills along with a flexible attitude.

The Service Engineer will:

·                     Install and Commission special purpose CNC Machine Tools

·                     Attend breakdowns and complete service and maintenance to existing machinery

·                     Rectification of faults on ancillary equipment such as Bar Feeding systems

The Service Engineer will have:

·                     Excellent understanding of CNC machine tools

·                     Hands on experience with CNC Controls specifically to include Fanuc

·                     Experience within a field based position is essential

·                     Knowledge of machinery installations

·                     Experience training customer Engineers and Operators

·                     Be multi-skilled with a solid mechanical bias

This is a home based role covering the South West, however, Engineers may be asked to support with UK & Ireland coverage. Depending on business demands this could result in having to stay away up to 4 nights within one week. No weekend working will be required for this role and the company does strive to allow all engineers to finish early on a Friday.

Ideally the Service Engineers will live in or around the following areas Bristol, Bath, Yate, Chippenham, Swindon, Stroud, Salisbury and Oxford.
