Immediate Position. Electrical Design Engineer. Salary up to £45k.

Electrical Discipline. £5M T/O Business.

CAD knowledge is essential. TRAINING ON EPLAN !

Electrical Design Engineer required due to the award of new projects within a growing team.

Business who design & develop special purpose automated machinery for a varied client base.

Electrical Design Engineer – The Role:

• Ensuring that CAD design is efficiently and effectively applied to all company projects
• Carry out detailed electrical hardware design, ensuring adherence to all appropriate industry standards & regulations & in accordance with customer specifications
• Produce accurate electrical drawings, panel layout drawings, system architecture drawings & cable schedules for the Engineering Department
• Surveying exiting equipment & modify existing drawings on AutoCAD
• Providing a high quality service to customers, whilst delivering CAD drawings in line with the company’s philosophy
• Supporting the commissioning of projects
• Ensuring all documentation is completed for CE Marking process

Electrical Design Engineer – The Person:

• Be innovative & a team player, able to motivate and lead a team to achieve results
• Having an understanding of PUWER, safety regulations & CE marking is highly advantageous
• Strong EPlan experience is advantageous, however training can be provided
• Experience within a similar field

Based in West Midlands, this role is also commutable from Kidderminster, Bromsgrove, Redditch, Alvechurch and Sutton Coldfield.

This role would also be suitable for a Design Engineer, Electrical Project Engineer or an Electrical Engineer.
