Results
driven Technical Sales Engineer prepared to travel internationally now required
for a renowned business who develop and supply automated vehicle technologies
worldwide. This is a senior position offering an exciting and challenging
commercial role with a rapidly growing automation business.
The Technical
Sales Engineer is required due to business expansion, and will lead the sales
and marketing with several key accounts, including possessing the ability to
represent technically & commercially the company’s product portfolio and
brands.
You will
have the ability to quickly assimilate information, understand logistic
processes and effectively communicate high tech solution value to the client
base. Ideally, candidates will have a technical and commercial background,
being familiar with logistic processes and automation technologies. If not a
technical background, you MUST have solid record of promoting automation
solutions to material handling clients i.e. logistics providers, retail,
pharmaceutical, automotive, healthcare or food processing.
Responsibilities
·
Develop
business in international territories (Asia/Europe) – this will involve the
appointment of and managing of channel partners/agents in order to achieve
growth and profitability targets) revenue and client base
·
Analyse
and report territory potential and provide sales reports
·
Actively
seek out and engage customer prospects
·
Develop
sales presentations and create effective solutions/value statements/buying
visions to client prospects
·
Develop
complete solution proposals and product proposals for clients
·
Coordinate
sales opportunities and communicate requirements to engineering teams
·
Key
account management
Requirements
of the Job
·
Proven
record of technical sales – international sales an advantage
·
Familiarity
with CRM practices (Salesforce ideal) along with the ability to build
productive business and professional relationships
·
Excellent
sales, communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
·
High
level of negotiating, presentation, and interpersonal skills
·
Ideally
educated to HND level or higher
·
Strong
numerical skills
·
Skilled
user of the Microsoft office suite and generally IT literate
·
Full
UK valid Driving license
·
Ability
to travel internationally as this role will involve managing and developing
representatives in China, Brazil and India – approx. 35-40%
There is a
real opportunity for the right candidate to grow an area of business. The
successful Sales Engineer will be given a solid degree of freedom to fully
explore and develop guidance automation systems.
This role
will involve c35-40% travel. Based in the East Midlands, ideal locations will
include Leicester, Nuneaton, Coventry, Wigston, Loughborough, Tamworth,
Hinckley, Lutterworth and Corby.
A
competitive salary is on offer c£40-50k experience depending with bonus
schemes, pension contributions, private medical and 35 days holiday.
