opportunities immediately available for a skilled PLC & SCADA Automation
Service Engineer within a leading company who hold an excellent track record
for providing services to various blue chip clients across a wide range of
industries.
The
Automation Service Engineer will be required to carry out preventative maintenance
checks, software back-ups and inspections of automation equipment. You will
also:

Diagnose
and rectify any faults
·
Be
expected to resolve any issues at site with the minimum of interruption to the
client
·
You
may be troubleshooting problems over the phone, working remotely or attending
site to resolve problems
·
Testing
equipment and the commissioning of automation systems on site
The
Automation Service Engineer will be able to carry out project work from time to
time. Adaptability to new production trends and technology is beneficial; a
full UK Valid driving license is essential along with a passport for occasional
overseas travel. The following experience is needed for this customer facing
role:

Essential
you have solid knowledge of PLC & SCADA software i.e. Siemens, Allen
Bradley, Citect, Wonderware
·
24/7-
365 Rota cover
·
Experience
of carrying out service to a wide range of industrial sites such as food &
beverage, warehousing and chemical plants
·
Background
of a field role
This is a
very rewarding position with a wide and varied project base. The service and
commissioning division works alongside the control systems and hardware
design/projects team to ensure a comprehensive offering is provided to their
clients.
This is a
home based role to cover the midlands and north of the UK – we are seeking
candidates in the South Yorkshire region i.e. Sheffield, Doncaster, Rotherham,
Chesterfield.
This is a
new service department to complement an existing service offering in other
areas of the UK. We have two roles available, one to be taken by a Service
Engineer ready to step into a team leadership role. You will then be a part of
building your service team to 5-7 Engineers.
