Experienced CNC Machine Tool Service Engineer now urgently required for a major UK based business renowned for bringing together the strengths of the world’s most respected manufacturers of high-technology machine tools and building on those strengths to deliver value-added service for customers.

Based from home you would cover the South West region with some UK and EU travel for training and factory acceptance testing.

Main Duties:

·         Complete installations and commissioning of complete range of CNC machines – Including Multi Axis Lathes, Milling Machines and Machining/Turning Centres.

·         Attend and rectify breakdowns

·         Provide planned maintenance and service work to existing machines

·         Train customer engineers and provide technical support

This company is committed to offering the same exceptional levels of service, in-depth product knowledge and technical understanding as the machinery manufacturers. This means that the successful Engineer will undergo extensive training and development.

The ideal Engineer will:

·      Be Multiskilled and possess either an electrical or mechanical qualification – HND or HNC for example

·      Have a solid knowledge of Multi Axis Lathes

·      Understand various CNC Controls systems – ideally a combination of Siemens, Fanuc, Heidenhain

You can expect an excellent basic salary of c£35k with an OTE of £45k, paid overtime, company car, iPad, phone, training schedule and minimal nights away from except when travelling for training courses.

Ideal candidate will be located in Exeter, Bristol, Plymouth and Devon and all other surrounding areas.
