Experienced Field
Service Engineers with excellent DCS knowledge now required for a client who
offer unparalleled expertise in engineering and project management with the

The DCS Field Service
Engineers will act as the first customer contact, performing investigation,
troubleshooting, resolution and recommendation to issues identified in customer
installation. You will also be responsible for:
- Independently
perform services on site, as well as remotely
- Independently
perform scheduled services and on-call services
- Independently
perform services in home country and abroad
- Execute DCS
migrations and service
- Assist factory
acceptance testing and performs installation, start up and commissioning
- Prepare, maintain
and update documentation of performed services
- Identify and
report Sales opportunities
- Support Proposals
in definition of project scope and cost estimates
- Supports Sales
during contract preparation and negotiation, working under supervision
Ideally in possession
of a HNC/level in an Engineering discipline, such as electronics, computer
science or control engineering, it is essential you have relevant experience as
a Service Engineer Engineer in a process control/ Power plant environment with
a particular emphasis on installation, commissioning and start-up. Also
required:
· An understanding of
C&I theory including Control loop configuration and tuning
· Have a sound knowledge
of process control DCS i.e. Emerson, Yokogawa, Honeywell or ABB products form
and application, service and operational view is preferred
· Have clear and
effective communication skills
· Full UK valid driving
license
