Globally renowned machine tool manufacturer seeks skilled Service Engineer from a metal cutting background ideally with Siemens S7 PLC experience to join their skilled service team.

 

The Service Engineer will be responsible for providing planned and reactive service to a range of high end clients across multiple industries working with technically complex machine tools.

 

You will also be involved in training of client’s staff alongside installation & commissioning of new machinery.

 

The ability to fault find PLC’s is essential with ideally experience of basic modifications, however training can be provided. You will be flexible for UK travel where required, however, Engineers are kept as local as possible to minimise time away from home.

 

As this is a global group, for those Engineers interested, the opportunity for travel and international trips is available.

 

With a technically complex and diverse portfolio of machines for a range of blue chip customers, this is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Machine Tool Service Engineer looking for a business who put their Engineers first.

 

The ideal candidate will reside in the Home Counties area to cover the South of England.

 

Basic salary is c£30k with performance bonus taking salary to c£34k, along with paid overtime, van, pension and excellent training.
