Our client is a world leader in the design and manufacture of life critical devices supporting industries including, Medical, Mining, Marine, Oil & Gas and Defence. Due to heavy investment and growth they now seek a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team.

The successful Maintenance Engineers will be responsible for:

• Electrical and mechanical maintenance of plant including packaging machinery, conveyors, drying lines, ovens and extruders
• PLC fault finding
• Repair of onsite robots
• Involvement in continuous improvement projects

Experience required:

• The successful Maintenance Engineers will have a relevant qualification in either electrical or mechanical engineering (ideally Apprentice, HND or HNC qualified)
• Previous experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong PLC understanding – ideally to modification level (Siemens S7, Mitsubishi or Omron)
• Robot experience would be a distinct advantage – ideally Kawasaki
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and repair pneumatic issues

Due to the nature of the products manufactured, this is also a clean environment so the ability and willingness to abide by medical standards is crucial for this role.

Working a afternoon shift 4pm to 12pm, in return our client are offering a very competitive salary of up to £41k plus fantastic benefits including Company Pension, Private Health Care and a Yearly Bonus.
