Working for a market leader who quarries,
manufactures and supplies a wide range of heavy building materials, through
continued innovation and investment they offer a diverse portfolio of
sustainable solutions and are now looking for an Electrical Maintenance
Engineer to join their established team.
Working across a large site, on a 3 shift
pattern 6am - 2pm/ 2pm – 10pm and then 10pm – 6am Monday to Friday. You will be
required to undertake responsibility for planned and reactive maintenance of
fully automated and electrically driven machinery including Pneumatics,
Hydraulics, Motors and Robotics. You will undertake electrical work in
accordance with UK legislation, updating, enhancing and upgrading automated
control solutions for special purpose Conveying, Handling and Packaging
Machines.
Ideal experience:
Time served Electrical Engineering
Apprenticeship
17th Edition Wiring Regulations
PLC fault finding ability (modification highly
advantageous) - Allen Bradley is the software used but will consider any previous
experience you have gained
Robots experience – Fanuc, KUKA or ABB would be
highly advantageous
The key part of this role is attitude. If you

The successful Engineer will be flexible, open
to working at heights and have a keen interest in machinery enhancement
projects. The position is based in Bedfordshire and is commutable from Luton,
Dunstable, Milton Keynes and Leighton Buzzard.
In return you can expect a salary to £35,000 with
paid overtime and an OTE in the region of £40,000, 5% Pension Contributions and
24 days holiday + Stats. The client has a training programme to assist in skill
development to take employees up in salary grades.
