DCS Service
Engineer with solid knowledge of Honeywell TDC 3000 systems sough to join a
highly skilled team in the Lifecycle Solutions and Services business.
This role
demands a technically competent engineer who takes pride in quality, value and
engineering solutions using the latest technology. The person will be organised
and reliable with a professional outlook, they will be committed in resolving
of customer queries, concerns & problems and can work on a mobile basis,
out of hours when required. The successful applicant will demonstrate confident
communication skills and an ethos in taking ownership of customer issues and
their own performance and development.
Main
Duties and Responsibilities of the role:
· Routine Preventative
Maintenance of DCS systems
· Incident Support,
System Analysis, Problem Diagnosis and Resolution
· Understanding
customer's needs and taking ownership for the timely management and resolution
of issues.
· Providing, maintaining
and customising site service records and documentation as required
· Providing technical
information to the sales team on major works and supporting them in the timely
development of estimates and proposals.
· Driving continuous
improvement in customer satisfaction
· Maintaining the
availability of out of hours system support from within the team.
Skills
and Qualifications
· In-depth working
knowledge of TDC3000 Distributed Control Systems ESSENTIAL
· Minimum HNC/HND in an
electronic/electrical discipline.
· Proven experience in a
control engineering role in an industrial manufacturing or service industry,
ideally in the Oil and Gas sector.
· Actively demonstrates a
strong commitment to HSE
· Experience and
competent understanding of general process control theory / strategy.
· Able to fault find
Distributed Control Systems /Process Control systems and networks
· Strong interpersonal
skills, able to develop and manage strong customer relationships
· Prioritises, focuses,
executes and delivers, based on achieving the most effective outcome.
· Takes personal
accountability, ownership and action to do the right thing.
This is a
home based role. We are seeking candidates in East Yorkshire ideally within and
around Goole, Scunthorpe, Hull, East York, Pocklington and Driffield.
