Injection Moulding Tool Setter

Our rapidly growing client design, manufacture, assemble and distribute plastic moulded parts throughout the world to a variety of industry sectors. Due to an ever increasing client base, they have recently invested heavily with the purchase of a 2^nd site in order to maintain their consistently high level of service to UK based and international clients.

Due to this investment, they have a requirement for an experienced Injection Moulding Setter to join the production team.  The successful applicant will be experienced in setting up plastic mould tools and equipment as well as responding to breakdowns.

Main Responsibilities:

·        Setting and conditioning of injection moulding tools in line with the production plan

·        Defining and establishing the tool settings where required

·        Monitor and maintain effective operation of all moulding machines and equipment

·        Carry out routine inspection maintenance on each machine and tool as required

·        Identify and report tool and machine problems to the appropriate designates

·        Reduce set up times to ensure the moulding department is being fully effective at full capacity through the use of continuous improvement methods

·        Support operational effectiveness of equipment and processes and the introduction of new products, tooling and equipment

Working a permanently late shift (2pm – 10pm), in return are client are offering a competitive salary of c£31,350, plus excellent including health cover, 21 days holiday + bank holidays, company pension and paid overtime.
