Technical/Service Support Engineer - FANUC

West Midlands

Renowned manufacturer of specialised turning solutions is now seeking a customer focused Technical Support Engineer/Service Co-ordinator to join their team. Responsible for co-ordinating the day to day activities for a busy Machine Tool Service Department.

The successful candidate will be able to multi-task, used to high volumes of work and be fully versed in the use of MSOffice – Word, Excel, Outlook etc.

·         Co-ordination of Service Engineer's day to day activities including issuing jobs

·         Technical support calls

·         Ordering spare parts

·         Categorising and resourcing labour resources

·         Providing support and machinery problem solving over the phone.

Machine tool / engineering industry experience is essential. Knowledge of lathes and Fanuc controls ideal. This is an excellent opportunity for either an Apprentice Engineer, Maintenance Engineer or Machine Tool Operator looking to be involved in the development of an expanding service and support team.
