Project Engineer – The Role:

Provide guidance & leadership to internal & external customers and suppliers

Be the lead client interface throughout the full project life-cycle

Attend all pre & post contract meetings – in the UK and internationally

Oversee the purchase of materials, goods and services

Assist and expedite suppliers when & where required

Ensure construction phase H&S plans, risk assessments, COSHH are completed

Assist estimator/sales team at tender stage with relevant lead time and project costing expertise

Compile and submit monthly financial project evaluations and projections

Project Engineer – The Person:

Have the ability to scope & schedule management, also risk & issue management, finance & cost control management and resource and people management

Confident – to deal with a wide variety of stakeholders with the ability to adapt style of leadership & management situation dependent

Essential to have experience of facilitating workshops & meetings, along with personal & professional experience to build & manage supportive, meaningful relationships across a team

Customer focused rounded professional with a positive attitude & excellent presentation skills

Essential to be commercially savvy with experience of developing & working to budgets with customers

This role would suit an experienced Projects Engineer, a hands on Project Manager with an engineering background or a Design Engineer with strong projects experience

This role is based in the West Midlands and is commutable from within and around the following areas: Telford, Shrewsbury, Wolverhampton and Wellington.
