Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Continental – 4 on – 4 off

Due to continued growth this internationally recognised company known for producing some of most recognisable household brands across the world, is now seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their expanding team.

You will be capable of leading from the front, within a team to ensure the efficient running, primarily of the continuous packing/production line.

Main Duties:

• Fault finding and rectification of breakdowns
• Interrogating PLCs with occassional modifications
• Complete continuous improvement projects
• Follow and complete PPM/TPM Schedules

Experience:

•           You will have experience of high-speed packaging equipment gained preferably within the FMCG, Food or Pharmaceutical sector

•           Already experienced as an Electrical Engineer and will have the relevant qualifications ideally to ONC/HND level and 17th Edition

•           Experienced with fault finding and developing PLC programs (Siemens S5 and S7)

•           Able to fault find on Drives, including AC/DC and Inverters

•           Have mechanical and pneumatic awareness

This role would be ideally suited to an experienced Maintenance Engineer, seeking the opportunity to become more firmly involved in the upgrading of machinery and involvement in projects designed to reduce downtime and ensure processes are as lean as possible.

The successful Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be working on a continental shift rotation (4 on 4 off) and can expect a starting salary of up to £44k plus Company Shares, 10% Pension and Paid Overtime. The company will provide extensive training and career progression for the right candidates.

Based in the Midlands this role is easily commutable from Leicester, Derby, Coventry, Nottingham, Stoke-on-Trent, Chesterfield, Burton-on-Trent and surrounding areas.
