Experienced Instrumentation Technician is now urgently required for a well-established chemical manufacturing plant. With 20 plants in operation, this family owned business has an excellent reputation for supplying products globally to a variety of industries including detergent, paper, water treatment and chemcial.

The Instrumentation Engineer will primarily be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, calibration and fault find of the following:

·       Flowmeters

·       Temperature Probes

·       PH & ORP

·       Pressure Transmitters

·       Gas Detectors

We are seeking applicants with a proven instrumentation background for a process industry. You will be expected to provide installation and commissioning expertise on new projects travelling to other sites in the UK 2 to 3 times a year to provide additional support. On these occasions, all travel will be covered including the provision of a hire car.

An understanding of PLC, electrical diagrams and ability to fault find PLC systems would be highly advantageous.

In return you can expect a salary to £38k including overtime, company pension and training to develop your skills and experience further. The ideal candidate will live within surrounding area of Grays, Romford Dartford or Basildon.
