Maintenance Engineers– Continental shifts

Basic salary up to £42k

Our client is one of
the UK's largest and well established compaines positioned to be part of the
solution to some of the main environmental problems facing society today;
reducing carbon footprint , avoiding pollution and preventing the unnecessary
use of finite natural resources.
Due to growth and
development they are looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Maintenance
Engineer to join the team.
The successful Electrical
Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for completing both planned and
reactive maintenance across the site on both plant and facilities. As well as
involvement in new machinery installation and upgrades.
To be considered for
tihis role you must have the following:
- Apprentice trained
or hold an electrical engineering qualification such as a BTEC, ONC, HNC,
HND or equivalent
- Electrical biased
- Experience of root
cause analysis on heavy plant equipment
- Experience of
working with conveyors - crane and grab experience would be beneficial but
not essential
- Understanding of
PLC diagnostics – Siemens, SCADA interface, 3 phase automation
- Ability to read
electrical schematics
- Previous
experience working within a Maintenance function
- Capability to work
at heights and in confined spaces

The shift pattern is a
4 on 4 off, 12 hour rolling shift pattern including days and nights working on
average 42 hours per week. Overtime is paid at x1.5.
The role is based in in
Essex and comutable from and within London, Grays, Bromley, Romford,
Chelmsford, Harlow, Rainham and Southend-on-Sea.
