Electrical Design Engineer is required for a unique business providing design, manufacturing and precision engineering services to various industries with a particular focus on Food/FMCG.

You will complete electrical designs, including control circuit and hardware panel design. Ideal experience would be of AutoCAD Electrical (AutoDesk), however training is provided so any electrical CAD package is acceptable.

You will also produce a range of documentation to ISO9001 quality standards including Functional Design Specifications, Test Specifications, Factory Acceptance and Site Acceptance Test Specifications.

The role is available due to retirement and whoever takes the position will be the sole Electrical Design Engineer within the engineering team, therefore we are seeking a self-motivated individual who is experienced enough to manage the control panel design autonomously.

This is an office based role, however, if you are interested to travel to site for commissioning or to work with customers directly, the option is available to you. Ability to build as well as design the panels would also be advantageous but not essential.

We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer from an industrial automation background preferably from the Food sector, but at a minimum high-speed manufacturing i.e. pharmaceutical/other FMCG. Each project is bespoke for the individual client.
