Control Systems Engineers – Rockwell - DCP

Experienced Control Systems Engineer with expert knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC systems now required to join West Midlands based integrator providing specialist services to a wide range of industry sectors.

Currently they have challenging projects in the automotive, aerospace and warehousing/distribution sectors and are seeking candidates with a solid background of producing well-structured PLC software programs with Allen Bradley hardware. Other duties will include:

·       Production of visualisation databases

·       Assisting in factory testing

·       Production of controls design documentation

·       Production of supporting documentation and manuals

·       Commission control systems on-site and to provide support to system commissioning activities

·       Work with Project/Sales team providing technical guidance

·       Provide technical back-up to the service team

You will be an experienced, senior level Controls Engineer with the ability to develop new solutions to suit specific projects preferably HND/HNC qualified or equivalent.

·       It is essential you have PLC software design & commissioning experience of machinery automation controls

·       Competency with communications networking is required

·       You will be an expert with Allen Bradley PLC's

·       Any knowledge of Siemens S7/WinCC Flex, SQL, Visual Basic or C scripting would be highly advantageous
