Control Systems Engineer

An immediate opportunity is available to join a market leader in the supply of automated materials handling projects for warehousing and distribution projects.

You will perform the role of an Electrical Project Engineer in terms of control system definition, standards design, specification and concept, holding responsibility for the application engineering of HMI/PLC systems for fully automated warehouse control systems.

Industrial experience is essential with sound knowledge of Siemens PLC Software – S7 &/or TIA portal with the ability to program in ST/SCL and be able to read and interpret electrical schematic drawings whilst having practical experience of electrical installation.

The ideal candidate will be positive and highly motivated with a strong commitment to safety, quality and customer satisfaction. The ability to analyse development requirements and constructively challenge functional requirement specifications is essential as is the ability to write concise accurate technical documentation.
