One of the UK's leading machine tool manufacturers is now urgently seeking either an experienced Service Engineer OR a Junior Service Engineer to join their growing team. The role is available due to a large and expanding customer base.

The experienced Service Engineer MUST have a solid background of machine tool service in order to continue to provide the world class customer service for which they are known. For Junior candidates, experience of machine tool service is still required, however we are open to reviewing applicants without a field based background.

Main Duties:

•           Complete installations and commissioning

•           Maintaining and servicing of machine tools - Milling Machines, Lathes, Vertical Machining Centres/Horizontal Machining Centres

•           Attending breakdowns

The ideal Service Engineer:

•           Must have experience of working within the Machine Tool Industry with good knowledge of CNC controls and installations

•           Be multi-skilled and possess a relevant qualification - Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

•           Be an excellent communicator and experienced in a customer facing position

•           Have experience with installation and commissioning

We are seeking candidates located within and around the following areas for this home based role: Bristol, Bath, Salisbury, Exeter, Plymouth, Taunton, Dorset and Swindon.

Depending on experience a salary of up to £35k+ Company Van (Private Mileage Paid), 25 days holiday + BH, Pension and excellent training. This company does not pay or expect Engineers to work overtime as they believe in ensuring all Engineers have a work life balance, no weekend work and try to ensure all Engineers work as close to home as possible.
