Service Engineer - The Role:

• Travel to customer sites across the UK to attend machine breakdown and perform routine maintenance
• Installation & commission of CNC machinery Identification & rectification of machine faults
• Interacting with customers & other company staff, driving customer satisfaction
• Document & report on action taken, submitting all paperwork in a timely manner

Service Engineer - The Person:

• Either electrical or mechanical bias
• Solid background of providing CNC machine tool service/maintenance with ability to fault find on CNC controls across a wide range of machine tools – Siemens 840D and/or Fanuc preferred
• Experience working on larger ranges of CNC machines tools that would often be found within the Aerospace industry
• Ideally come from a machine tool manufacturer in either a Maintenance, Field Service or Project Engineering position for a number of years & have the ability to display extensive knowledge of CNC machine tools & a passion to learn & develop
• Ability to liaise with customers of all levels & of varying technical abilities is required

This position is open to Engineers who haver either a mechanical or electrical bias. Experience within machine tool projects is highly desirable but not essential if you have the correct ability working on CNC controlled machinery.

This is a home based role and you will be located within the North West, West or East Midlands, with easy access to main motorway network.
