Immediate Opportunity. Electrical Design Engineer. Up to £45k + Paid Overtime & expenses. 37.5 Hours per week. Home based role with travel to UK sites.

Automated Projects – machinery focused. Leading integrators – various industries

Electrical Design Engineer – The Role:

• Produce electrical designs including cable & power calculations, electrical panel requirements & hardware requirements
• Use AutoCAD / EPlan to produce electrical drawings
• Work closely with other teams including the Software team to specify the PLC hardware & generate the I/O lists
• Contribute to the Function Design & Test Specification
• Specify & order electrical components
• Produce risk assessments & method statements
• Carry out minor electrical modifications/installations on site
• Supervise the electrical installations on site – ensuring that site installation activities and quality match both design & appropriate industry standards
• Assist with the tender quotation process

Electrical Design Engineer – The Person:

• Solid experience of control panel design
• Ability to work on projects from conception through to final delivery
• Have excellent people skills & be able to communicate well at all levels
• Be able & willing to accept responsibility & make decisions
• Experienced with control systems & create schematics

This role would also suit a Design Engineer, an Electrical Project Engineer or an Electrical Engineer.
