Maintenance Engineer – Electrical Bias

Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer now sought to join a specialist manufacturer based in the East Midlands.

The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for safe and efficient delivery of maintenance operations for all process, plant and buildings.

The successfull Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for:

·       Ensure all planned and reactive maintenance task are completed with set timescales

·       Fault find on PLC’s

·       Responsible for compliance to all the safe system of work procedures

·       Liaising among different departments eg. Managers, suppliers, customers

·       Ensuring health and safety guidelines are followed including Environmental impacts

·       Support and develop engineering apprentices

·       To undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by the Maintenance Manager

or Maintenance Supervisor

The successful Maintenance Engineer should have the following:

·         Electrical/Mechanical qualification and hands on maintenance experience

·         Working knowledge of a CMMS system would be advantageous

·         Multi-skilled with an electrical bias along with ability Fault find on PLC’s

Based in the East Midlands, this role is commutable from within and around the following areas: Derby, Eastwood, Burton upon Trent, Stock on Trent, Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster, Lincoln, Loughborough, Mansfield, Chesterfield and Nottingham.
