An excellent
opportunity has become available for a Technical Support Engineer to join a
leading Machine Tool Company. We are seeking either an experienced Technical
Support Engineer OR a skilled Machine Tool Service Engineer looking for an
office based role.
The
successful Technical Support Engineer will have experience of:
· Full diagnosis of all
helpdesk calls
· Handle spare parts enquiries
· Find part numbers for
customer orders
· Technical support for
engineers on the road
· Scheduling of engineers
· Communicating with
customers regarding visiting their sites
With a solid background
providing service and/or technical support to the machine tool industry, you
will have proven ability with fault finding of PLC software – Siemens knowledge
would be ideal.
Also required:
- Experience of CNC
Fault Finding
- Pneumatic/Hydraulic
& Drives understanding
- Ability to read
diagrams
- Apprentice trained
electrically or mechnically or hold a HNC in Mechanical Engineering
There is a basic salary
of up to £34k depending on experience and benefits include Healthcare, company
life assurance, Pension scheme, 25 days holiday plus paid overtime.
The role is based in
Home Counties commutable from Hemel Hempstead, Dunstable, Luton, Stevenage, St
Albans, Watford and Welwyn Garden City.
