Leading Automation Company specialising within the Food & Beverage sector now seeking a Commissioning Engineer to join their well-established team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with blue chip organisation on interesting machinery projects.

 

Commissioning Engineer

 

£40,000-45,000 + £7.2k Car Allowance, Phone, Laptop, Paid Overtime & Allowances

Earn £60k+

Work from home – any UK location. Travel: 80% Europe & 20% UK

Commissioning Engineer – The Role:

  • Work as part of a team to complete efficient installation & commissioning tasks
  • Supporting & carrying out installations & commissioning of new equipment
  • Daily visits to customer sites to carry out routine servicing, maintenance, repairs & modifications to automated machinery & industrial control systems
  • Training operators & engineers on customer sites
  • Provide detailed & accurate customer site visit reports
  • Be able to troubleshoot & respond to customer concerns in a fast paced, pressurised environment
  • Be able to identify & participate in sales opportunities, including new & renewal contracts

 

Commissioning Engineer – The Person:

  • Previous experience as an Installation/Commissioning/Controls or Service Engineer
  • Ideally qualified to HNC/NVQ Level 4 in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, although a combination of experience, education & training will be taken into consideration
  • Be multi-skilled with experience of PLC & Servo Controllers
  • Experience working with packaging machines within the food industry
  • Hold a valid driver’s license
  • Be flexible to travel 80% of the time around UK/Europe
