Maintenance Engineers – Electrical / Mechanical

£Negotiable (Mid to late £30k - dependant on experience)

Overtime available

3 Shift System – (6am – 2pm / 2pm – 10pm / 10pm – 6am)

Excellent and immediate opportunities available for skilled Maintenance Engineers to join a global business within the automotive sector as they continue to develop and improve their Yorkshire site.

We are recruiting for a range of skill sets in order to build a diverse engineering team who will complement each other in order to further progress the site.

Immediately required are Maintenance Engineers with both electrical and mechanical bias, we offer competitive salaries and on-going training which will include personal skill development in your chosen field.

We are seeking applicants with ability to really understand the machinery and processes, getting to grips with not just the face of the error but the root cause of the problem. You will have excellent fault finding and trouble shooting skills.

Required Skills for Electrical Maintenance Engineers:

• Competent in fault finding PLC systems, DC drives is essential
• Experience with inverter controls, safety control systems, data networks would be preferred but not essential

• Experienced of working in an Automotive environment or FMCG / fast paced environment is important
• Experience with Hydraulic / Pneumatic systems is essential

• Any knowledge of fitting bearings pullets, chains, tracks, transport belts and sensors would be preferable as well as operating lathes and milling machines
• Any knowledge of burners/boilers is advantageous but not essential
• Able to understand modern engineering philosophies i.e. Kaizen, Poke Yoke, 5s would be preferred but not essential
