Automation & Controls Engineer

Leading wind energy developer are looking for an Automation & Controls Engineer to join the engineering team. You will be working within a multidisciplined team developing the automation hardware and software and communications networks

Responsibilities:

• Designing safety controllers for segregated safety functions
• Documentation of software development life cycle including FDS and management of change
• Electrical testing and working with electrical drawings

Requirements:

• A degree in electrical engineering or similar
• Strong electrical design background
• Knowledge of relevant design codes (e.g. 17th Edition)
• Electrical CAD Thorough knowledge of designing automation systems
• Experience programming PLCs (especially B&R)
• Experience working with distributed I\O networks
• Thorough knowledge of SCADA
• Experience with electrical motors and controllers
• Experience testing and commissioning
