market leader in the development and manufacture of special purpose machining
systems and machining technologies. In addition to providing machine tool
solutions for the Aerospace and Industrial Gas Turbine Industries, they offer
supported onsite facilities management to give clients full support and
technical backup.
An exciting opportunity
has arisen for an enthusiastic, self-motivated Site Based Maintenance Engineer
to complement the existing team.
Role and
Responsibilities:
⦁ First line
Planned Maintenance on 100+ Machines
⦁ Coordinate
all new and active technical issues
⦁ Assist the
manager in the day to day activities of the customer and maintenance team
⦁ Assist in
the identification of replacement parts
⦁ Assist in
the implementation and continued certification of ISO9000
Preferred Skills &
Experience:
⦁ Experience
of working with Machine Tools
⦁ OND/HNC or
equivalent experience in electrical, electronics and/or mechanics
⦁ Experience
of PC based CNC equipment
⦁ Maintenance
and alignment of precision Machine Tools, sub-assemblies and ancillary
equipment
⦁ Clear and
logical approach to fault finding complex electronic control systems
The role is primarily
Monday to Friday days however there is a requirement to cover for the shift
engineers on the 4-shift system during periods of Holidays and Sickness.
Based in the
Derbyshire, this role is commutable from within and around Stoke-on-Trent,
Birmingham, Loughborough, Grantham, Leicester, Wolverhampton, Sheffield and Burton
upon Trent.
