Specialist
manufacturer of process automation equipment now urgently requires an
Electrical Design Engineer due to an expanding workload. This independent and
stable business provide a range of bespoke and standard control systems
products, and are able to provide support through the complete project
lifecycle.
The
successful Electrical Design Engineer will ideally have experience of creating
MCC panel schematics preferably using AutoCAD, however other packages are
considered. Any ability with PLC/HMI software would be highly advantageous but
non-essential.
Working on
a range of projects, you can expect duties to include:

Produce
full Functional Design Specifications for every project
·
Produce
all manufacturing detail using CAD comprising schematic wiring diagrams, bills
of materials and all other manufacturing information for efficient production
of control systems
·
Liaise
with clients and suppliers through whole process
·
Provide
technical support to clients, either by telephone or by visits as and when
required
·
Prepare
tenders and quotations providing technical support to the sales team
·
Undertake
site visits to ascertain project requirements
·
Actively
maintain existing customers and also prospect new sales opportunities
We are
seeking candidates with proven experience of a similar role. You will
preferably have a water industry and/or other automation process control
background along with the following:

Ability
to design control panel schematics from concept using AutoCAD
·
Ability
to complete full documentation
Site work
is a requirement of this role, therefore flexibility for some travel is
essential.
