Electrical Design Engineer

This company have exciting opportunities to join a team helping to define and shape the future of materials handling solutions. Immediate opportunity available for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer with Eplan skills.

Responsibilities:

•     Interpret design input information to produce electrical system designs

•     Produce design and manufacturing programmes

•     Production of all associated documentation including, but not limited to, design calculations, design/safety specifications, operation and maintenance manuals

•     Design and production of electrical layout and schematic drawings using appropriate CAD tools

•     Procurement of electrical equipment including control panels and field devices

•     Liaise with suppliers on technical matters

•     Procurement of electrical installation services and liaise with suppliers on technical matters

•     Liaise with electrical installation supervisors and subcontractors

•     Produce all associated documentation including, but not limited to functional design specifications, test specifications and commissioning checklists

•     Produce required health and safety documentation including, but not limited to method statements and risk assessments

•     Commission electrical systems on site and to provide support to system integration commissioning activities

Results orientated with the ability to analyse and make decisions, you will be a team player with good communication skills with proven record of working effectively under pressure. You will also ideally be qualified to minimum HND/HNC level in a relevant discipline and you must have experience of Eplan.

This position is commutable from Banbury, Stratford-Upon-Avon, Leamington Spa, Coventry, Warwick, Oxford, Bicester, Milton Keynes, Northampton and Bedford, and you can expect a competitive basic salary, with 5% Bonus, Pension and Healthcare.
