Keen and highly motivated Control Systems
Support Engineers with experience of PLC/SCADA solutions urgently
required for a specialist in controls and communication systems for the
building and process industries. Providing clients with complete solutions from
concept to acceptance they have a solid reputation for offering comprehensive
quality and operating procedures.
The successful Service Support Engineers will
be providing support services, testing and commissioning of PLC/SCADA, Communication
and Networking systems along with enhancing current automation projects. The
ideal Service Support Engineers will have:
- Ability to fault find and create software
modifications to PLC/HMI software, with additional knowledge of SCADA
highly beneficial – Rockwell and/or Schneider are preferred, all
considered
- Experience of networking to multi-third
party systems
- Confident to spent time away from home
working on site including nights
You will be based locally to the East Midlands
office with a split c60% site, 40% office. When based in the office you will be
involved with risk assessments, method statements and working with the projects
team on site preparation.
You will be involved in an additional call out
rota 1 in 5 where you will spend a week based in London living in a company
apartment with an additional payment of £500 plus extra call out charges.
When on site, work will mainly consist of
planned maintenance and systems upgrades with minimal reactive service.
You will be joining a well-established business
who pride themselves on their quality of customer service, a genuine open door
policy and Directors who take an active involvement in the day to day
engineering work.
Residing in the East Midlands, your week will
be split into designing and testing equipment in-house, then site visits to
support existing projects in the field. A background of installation, service or
maintenance would be ideal focusing on systems integration projects. You will
be able to configure and fault find industrial site wide networking, have a
full driving licence and be flexible to stay away from home one or two nights
per week if required.
