Mechanical Design Engineer immediately sought for an international supplier of global packaging machinery to join a busy and expanding team.

As the Mechanical Design Engineer you can expect to be involved in:

• The design of bespoke filling machinery and conveyor systems
• Carrying out risk assessments for machinery
• Stock control
• Repairs and quotations
• Completion of documentation
• Systems updates

Candidates should have good knowledge of 3D SolidWorks – this is an essential requirement for the role – and will come from an industrial packaging machinery background. Projects range from small units to high speed multi-head machines. You will be involved with the design of both single machines up to full production lines.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a well established business as it looks to further grow and develop.

Based in West Yorkshire, this role is commutable from within and around the following areas: Huddersfield, Dewsbury, Wakefield, Bradford and Leeds.
