Employee owned specialist Engineering business in Telford are now seeking to add a Mechanical  Estimator / Proposals Engineer to their team as the volume of orders and business continues to increase.

As their Estimator you will work with the Sales Director, Senior Sales Engineer and the Mechanical & Electrical engineering teams to complete full proposals covering an entire solution from design through to manufacture, testing, delivery and final commissioning.

Estimator – The Role:

? Receiving and reviewing requests for quotations (RFQ’s) from the sales department for the company’s products and services.

? Deal directly with sales team regarding customer to service enquiries.

? Obtaining costs of materials, consumables, sub-contract work etc. to prepare quotes.

? Preparing quotations in accordance with customer specified requirements, documentation and company policies.

? Assisting sales order administration, conduct contract reviews where necessary and assist in project management when required.

? Representing the company and visiting customers along with the sales team as and when required for bid clarification etc.

Estimator – The Person:

Our first choice candidate will have solid experience of large, automated systems within the engineering sector, however providing you have worked with the following we would still like to hear from you:

? Structural steel fabrications

? Special purpose machinery

? Complete automated systems

? Large, complex mechanical handling systems

? Cranes and/or heavy lifting equipment
